Men: Most male artists are seen with many tattoos and are normally shirtless to aim towards their young female audience. Much larger female audience so they will need to appeal to the majority vote. Videos will normally be about their wealth but will also mainly be about their body. There is a small appeal to the male audience as they will want to be like them and have a similar wealth and the women that they get based on their music videos

Women: Wear very little clothes to aim towards their male audience as they will be seen as an object of desire. They wear high heels to elongate their legs so they look like a more powerful figure. Wear a lot of Jewelry to break the stereotype that its only men who wear a lot ofJewelry in RnB. Their very outgoing and in your face to entice the audience to listen to their music as most people only like them because of their looks, they use this to their advantage to sell music.

This will help people to find out more about their favorite artists and genres if they are given a closer look at them. His facial expression is very blank and miserable to show his relaxed nature and carefree attitude that may be of a similar style to the music in the magazine as it is very carefree. The lighting is very bright to make the artist on the front stand out, this makes it easy to identify who is on it and from this the genre of music used.

The overall layout for the contents page is to have the main article is large and bold so it is obvious as to what the magazine is mainly about. The rest of the information is displayed on the side with photos of other main articles for the audience to see and read. The color layout is red, white and black so these are very plain colors which help the information stand out and not be overshadowed by the a bright variety of colors.

Cross genre there is many differences but with the same genre there are very few. Across these two magazines the differences will be the color scheme, the size of the artists, the layout and the style. The similarities of the two magazines is the same colors used in the form of red and black and the cover artist positioned in the same way.
